Since 1973 of inception of BDRCS establishment it is providing huge relief and logistics support to disaster affected people around the country. BDRCS present paradigm shift from disaster relief to resilience exposed regular logistics support for resilience and development activity. Last year BDRCS spent nearly 500 million BDT for resilience/response program. In addition to this, logistics support is needed for hospital, public health and other department regarding procurement & resource mobilization. Country is over populated and need resource mobilization for life safety and skill development. BDRCS has developed logistics organogram kind of procurement, fleet, warehouse and ICT management. Also, BDRCS have three medium large size warehouses in Chittagong, Dhaka, Noakhali. Five small warehouses are located in strategic areas of flood and cyclone. Also, BDRCS have 36 vehicles with 5 tracks for quick transportation though 50% vehicle are very old. To sustain development resource mobilization and logistics supports are expected ensuring construction of new institution and infrastructure.
